Regular Check-ups & Examinations
Looking after your teeth isn’t complicated — prevention is always better than cure. The trouble is, most of us don’t realise how valuable our teeth are until something goes wrong. And once a tooth is gone, it’s gone for good.
Ideally, your teeth should last a lifetime. One of the best ways to make that happen is by having regular dental check-ups — just like your car’s WOF. We usually recommend coming in every 6 to 12 months.
During your check-up, we’ll assess the overall health of your teeth, gums, and mouth. It’s also a chance to chat with your dentist about anything that’s been bothering you. Spotting issues early means they’re easier (and cheaper) to fix.
Check-ups typically take around 30 minutes. We also recommend:
- Bite-wing X-rays every 12 months
- Panoramic X-rays every 5 years
